I am way bored at work..any ideas on some crafts that I can do (without being too obvious) while I sit at my desk?  I have access to the usual office supply type stuff.
Thanks!

I love you - what a great thread - i just took my lunch break and went to the library in my office building and sat amongst the stuffy people and clicked my metal knitting needles whilst they read --- it felt good!

hmm staplers, pen holders, picture frames, magnets, plant containers, chair cushions, desk handles, you have a slew of things you can spice up.

i say paint paint paint! nothing too obvious. forget the desk handles, only decorate stuff you can take home paint and bring back the next day. p.s. is you job that boring? :-(

hope this helps.

Yeah!  I have started eating at my desk and taking "lunch" to knit!  It's nice to get away and do something fun at work.

One of my favorite things to do at my desk...

I take a post it (I work in real estate, and we're always getting "promo post-its"...    very fun to cut up), cut it into strips so that there is a sticky bit on each strip...

Then I fashion them into paper things.  Stars, hearts, squares, triangles...  To make the stars, just fold it like you would fold a paper fan, and then arrange it in the right way...

I always end up throwing mine out at the end of the day, but I bet you could take them home and poly them to make paper charms to go with your paper beads...

You could even make the paper beads at work, too...  Again, I work in real estate, so we have all those free Home books...   but any magazine will do...   or old boring office memo...   all you need is a gluestick!

Keep the ideas coming, tho guys, cause I get bored too!

It's late, and I've been wondering...  How I can stay awake so long and miss so much...
