A friend who's practically my sister is having her first baby in September and I am SO excited!! So, of course, I've been furiously making things for the little guy to wear!

The first thing I cranked out was this little sweater. It's in a 6-12 month size so that the baby doesn't grow out of it too soon. The pattern's from Yarny Days, a blog that I've been loving lately. And this is my first non-rectangular crochet project, so I'm really proud of it!

It looks like a baby-knitting project snuck into the corner of the photo!

Aaand a close-up on those buttons. I wish I could make myself a sweater with buttons like these! They're just so cute.

This is so adorable! It reminds me of the tiny sweaters from Coraline  Smiley

I found her blog yesterday too, I was thinking to crochet this cardigan.

BTW, very nice!!  Is it difficult to do it?  Is the pattern easy to follow?

I also want to crochet this one:

Aw, thanks! The pattern's pretty easy to follow (even for a beginner like me!). The only part where I had any trouble was when you have to divide the arms from the body. But even that was mostly my amazing inability to read directions right  Cheesy I'm sure you'll be fine with it.
