Yeah! Lookie what lilgothkatt sent me!! We start with the kit!
Package 1
Sock Monkey(which I've been thinking about a lot lately) and a book that she actually wrote and made very awesome drawings in! step-by-step-exactly what i need! lol



I ADORE the picture of the monkey lounging!

Then (be prepared to be jealous!!) she went to COMICCON and got me stuff!! The best local gift ever!



Nothing from North Dakota is going to be that cool.. EVER!!

Then, we decided to include a small personal swap for stuff for our kids. She made Lily-Anne a felt sandwhich!! Look at the detail, this is amazing! (One of the pieces of bread is already hiding somewhere in my living room, thats why its missing from the pics!)




Yesterday when I recieved, she sat on top of her slide, and restacked the sandwhich forever!

Yay! I'm so glad you like the stuff. I was really torn about what to send for the "local" item. We have some awsome mexican shops here. being right next tot he border. But mexican candy is an aqquried taste. There are also a lot of really cool asain markets but again maybe salty sweet squid bites aren't your style. So I was like Oh! San Diego Comic Con only happens in SAN DIEGO!

Sock monkeys are what I do so it was natural for me to send that as a kit.

The felt food was really fun to make but finding that meat colored felt was really hard

Everyone in my house was worried your little girl would try to eat the sandwhich after I told them the crayon story. But Since I made all the pieces big and have you ever put felt in your mouth? It's not very pleasent.

Lol! She totally took a "bite" out of the sandwhich on the first day- but then made a face that said "gross, I just had felt in my mouth". Since then she's been feeding it bit by bit to her stuffed puppies, and going "yum yum yum". Plus, I left the sandwhich whole on the coffee table the other night, and my husband got home and thought I left a real sandwhich just sitting on the table! The bread looks so real, and I adore the detail in the tomatoes!

I am taking the monkey at the end of this month to a conference I have to go to-perfect craft for the hotel room! I'll have to post her when I get back from Alabama.
