Okay, here is my latest project. I love cross stitch but I have not done a lot of cross stitching so it is far from perfect. I wanted to do something that would make me laugh every time I looked at it, so Monsieur Winky was born (I am immature sometimes  Smiley )


Here he is in his frame that I found at Goodwill. I am thinking about spray painting the frame black but I am not sure. Also, do you think he needs a border around him? And yes, he does have a monocle and a mustache.

just so you know: THIS IS AWESOME!

maybe paint the frame to look like a silver or a grayish, darker metallic. I like the idea of a metallic, seems more classy.

If you wanted to add a border (and I think it would be cool, though it can stand without one) I'd do something understated- a ring of tiny flowers or something along those lines.
