Oh my goodness!  This is so adorable.  My daughter would love it, too.   Smiley

I am trying to turn all of my non crafty friends and relatives into crafters. It's like a cult. I want everyone to become addicted to my obsessions!

The dress is super cute. My daughter loves the book. After she wore the dress was she still hungry? Just a little humor from the book. LOL or not. Great job!

We recently got DD a parakeet and the other day she sat on the floor with him perched on her arm and "read" him the Very Hungry Caterpillar book.  I would have loved to catch it on camera, but I was afraid of messing with a good thing.  She was so cute saying, "tiiiill hungry".

This is amazing!  I just had a child and got some Eric C. themed gifts and I have to say I love them so much! I didn't know too much about them before  Huh I just fell off the turnip truck for sure.

Anyway, I have a silly question--how did you enter this at your state fair?

It was actually just the local county fair, not the state fair.  I went to our county fair website (just googled it to find it) and looked around. It gave information and deadlines for entering stuff. At first I was under the impression that you could only enter things in the fair if you were in 4-H.  But I was wrong and I figured it out.  Since the turn-in date happened to be that very weekend, I begged hubby to stop by while we were out running errands. Et voila! There really weren't many entries in the clothing category, so I didn't have much competition, but it was still fun!  It cost $8 to enter and I won $7 in prize money (and got into the fair free).  Roll Eyes
