My bird died a couple weeks ago and its been really hard for me to deal with.  We buried her in the back yard, and I thought she needed a memorial.  So I made her a stepping stone.

I'm really pleased with how this came out, and I was surprised that I found all the perfect pieces in the jumble of glass the kit came with.  C&C welcome.

I really like it! And I'm so sorry about your bird. It's just a lot harder to lose a pet than a lot of people realize. I hope you can have another one soon, even though it won't be the same bird, it may really help with the loss. I bet that your bird looked like the colors in the stone? K

I am very sorry for your loss. You have made a beautiful tribute to Kiwi.

Oh ami that is great! Want to hear a great lost found pet story? PM me. My good nephew is a hero. The other one is still 'the other one'.

Lovely stone and now Kiwi has a special place.

I was amazed by your crochet skills, but you are equally talented in mosaic. Let me know how it goes with the new birdie if you get it. I'm so glad you made this memorial.
