I hope I have posted this in the right section... it is quilting techniques - but I haven't actually made a quilt!

My first attempts of any quilting related crafts!  Firstly a hand stitch flower.  Polyester wadding sandwiched between two pieces of white cotton. I think the stippling stitches surrounding look really pretty! (if i do say so myself!).

My second attempt was based on a place called Sweetheart Abbey in Dumfries, Scotland.  I used furrowing to create the volume, and then shadow quilting on top to define the window shapes further.

I am sooo in awe of all you real quilters!  C&C very much appreciated!

I have lots of train tickets (I get the train most days), if anyone wants some for papercrafting just send me a PM Smiley
