Knitted licorice underwear!  That is hysterical!  Reminds me of the candy necklace bikini I wanted to get you for your bachelorette party!  You have to make it and let me know what Buck says!!!  Cheesy

Of course everything else is amazing, too.  Love those tape measure bows!

When this swap is all said and done, I'm going to have to spend some time wisting things from all of your packages!  I am getting so anxious for mine now!

I know! I can make my own edible undies! Good thing Buck likes twizzlers.

There have been some great things, too bad we're not all patient enough to knit our projects and post pics as we go. I think I'd be wisting a lot of the things from these patterns too.

Very cute, sew-wannabe!  I'm excited to see that you've made something with your yarn already. Smiley

I'm still planning to knit my goodies out, but we'll see how that goes...

I'm glad you like everything, iheartzb! I know you said you didn't have a LYS near you, so I wanted to send you some nice yarns - hence the silks. The mini-skeins are penny candy yarn. They're samples of hand-dyed sock yarn from my LYS. I think they'd be great for mini Xmas stockings!

And the necklace is made out of turquoise - I saw somewhere (wists, maybe?) that you liked turquoise and I thought those stones were just gorgeous.

And I hope you like the undie patterns. I know they're a little "frisky", but I figured since you're still kind of a newlywed, you could put 'em to good use. Grin

To give credit where credit is due, the tape measure bows were made by alteredmommy (I bought them in the Shop the Swap swap), the fused glass pendant was made by gavagai (well, she made the fused glass and I turned it into a pendant), and the flip-top mittens were knit by a woman in Peru out of alpaca yarn (so make sure to handwash in cold and dry flat).

And thanks to our esteemed organizer for organizing such a fun swap. I'll definitely be doing the next round now that I'm hooked on MYB's!

I'm still planning to knit my goodies out, but we'll see how that goes...

Then you'll want to open the envelope that says "Open Last" before you start knitting. Just don't open the little thing that says "Yarn Ball Contents" on it.

I recommend unwinding everything first, though! You'll want some stuff ASAP. :-)

PICTURE TIME!!

Here's what I got from imafundork:

The box after opening and removing the plastic bags used for stuffing.

Ball #1 and its contents. (Two balls of sock yarn were needed for the pattern she sent.)

Ball #2 and its contents.

And all the goodies in one place:

So much great stuff!
I especially loved the row-counter bracelet, and I can't wait to use the adorable little apple stitch markers! I was super excited about double-bergamot Earl Grey tea (never knew it existed)! (And I'm drinking some right now. So good!) She also sent coasters for my collection; one of them was a Maine blueberry beer (I grew up in Maine, moved to MA for several years, and now I live in Los Angeles)!

Here's the link to the flickr picture with all the things labeled: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thepyefamily/3829977889

Thanks so much! I love it all!
