This little pokemon I recently made mostly as a challenge to myself.  He was alot of fun to make, even if he does only have one leg.  Why he has only one leg I've never figured out,  but he can sure be a handful if you ever have to go up against one in the games!  LOL

As always,  the free pattern is on my blog at:  http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.com/2009/07/hoothoot-plushie.html

You have no idea how long I've been trying to find pokemon patterns! and not to mention free ones! Wow! Thank you so much. You really do an awesome job. They look very true to their original character design and totally adorable!

Thank you!  The primary reason I began making these pokemon patterns, is because I went looking for them too.  I couldn't find any that suited me, so I started making them on my own... my daughters convinced me to share them online,  and it just kinda took off  Smiley    These dolls I make are my form of fan art,  since I can't draw, or sculpt or anything like that... fiber is my artistic medium of expression.

I'm truly a pokemon fan.  I play everyday with few exceptions, even if only for a few minutes,  my DS is seldom very far away from me, and I have all the console games too.  I've loved pokemon from the first time I saw it about 12 years ago, and have owned and played all but one of the games  (I never got a copy of Diamond,  but who knows, maybe someday Smiley

Thanks again for the compliments! I really do appreciate them  Cheesy

hooray for hoothoot!!!!!  he looks so great!

as for the one leg thing, the cartoon explained it in an old episode.  hoothoot have 2 legs, but they stand on one like a flamingo and the other gets tucked up under those longer feathers underneath him.

I make crafts and people. Also crafts for said people.
