Ok! So, I'm trying so, so hard to actually use my stash of pretty craft supplies instead of just sitting around and looking at them.

This afternoon I sat down and made these pendants, I really like how they turned out!

Group shot!

And the closeups:

What do you guys think?

How beautiful! I love the colors, they're very fresh. How did you make them? Looks like plastic and glass?

I agree! The colors are fabulous. Are they buttons?

These are really pretty, but I have to admit, from the thumbnail, it looks like food art.  I thought these were going to be little pies or tarts topped with fruit that had been cut into pretty shapes!

Awesome job! And I totally know what you mean about hoarding unused craft supplies! I have a full box or two (or three) of things that look amazing alone that I have yet to make look amazing with something. It's something I hope to break as excellently as you just did!

Oh wow! Thanks so much everyone!

They're really easy to make. The back is a BIG button, the flowers are vintage stacking flower beads (I found mine on Ebay and Etsy) and the top part is a button with a loop at the back so it can hide everything.

I string them all together with wire and then glue a bail on the back of the button.

Some of the big buttons are from the St. Louis Garment district from the 1920's, a coworker gave me a big bag of them! Jackpot!  Grin
