I was bored tonight and I came up with this little number ....Made out of recycled Cordoroy pants and a bit of Michael Miller fabric.....

I really liked how it turned out....

That is a really cool way to get rid of pants that you can't use anymore - great idea!  Cheesy

i ended up making it a bit snug on me ..I forgot to leave extra room around the back and chest..live and learn... but when a smaller person happens along here I will post some action shots.. Tongue

Construction:

A - Cut off the legs of the pants you want. I used bell bottom  pants to get bell sleeves

Open the legs up and sew them together length wise so you have a long strip...

B - then find your middle of the strip and on one end cut out the yoke
and sew around yoke edge

C -  Cut out desired space for arms ..remember to messure where the arm pit and sides will be to have enough room..( I messured around the top of the arm and then left a few extra inches for room) then sew up arms and sides..

I added some fabric around the neck / yoke to give some colour...

Hope this helps you all... Wink
