I've been collecting vintage charms and pendants and beads, etc that I get from second hand stores. I finally found a good use for them, after seeing these necklaces on fredflare.com:

http://www.fredflare.com/customer/product.php?productid=6377&cat=252

I was inspired by that, as well as the similar necklaces from forever 21.

This is what I came up with:

closer look at it hanging

and where it falls when wearing it. i love super long chains Smiley

I have a ton more charms and things, so I will definitely be making more necklaces like this! I like how they look different everytime you wear them, depending on how the charms fall and overlap.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice! I love this concept. You can have a whole wardrobe of clusters, and use a variety of chains to mix and match.

I've always liked the look of charm necklaces, especially on long chains. You did a great job of repurposing older jewelry!
