This was done for the Embroidered Tote Bag Swap. My partner shared a love of Nintendo with me, and also listed pirates, and girly things on her list of likes. So I thought, hey, Peach is a girl and a Nintendo character. After looking around for pictures I remembered that she said pirates. So I pulled some inspiration from a piece on DA by Skullomaniac. I did a quick redraw, traced the image on some Glad Press and Seal, and away I went. It took me about two weeks to finish, but I have a full time job to eat up craft time. I don't really know the correct way to do fill stitches, or if there is a correct way for that matter. But enough rambling. Pictures!

The rope was in hopes of making it feel more nautical. The flowers have a seed bead in the center. She is 6 inches tall for reference.

Here's a wonderfully blurry close up. I was really worried about here eyes. I think I spent a good 20 minutes pulling the press and seal out of them, but I think they turned out pretty well. Everything other than the crown was outlined in a slightly darker shade, but it all blended together in the end. She does have a nose, it just kind of got lost somewhere.

The skirt was done a little different than everything else. It made it stand out a bit, as it's neater. Live and learn I guess. I think the next time it'll all be done more along the path of the skirt.

Thanks for looking, please leave C&C because I love to hear it.

I think you did a great job of combining Peach and Pirate.  She is so cute.  Adorable motif for a bag.  I'm sure your partner was extremely happy with it!  Like the rope, too.
