This is how I spent my son's nap time this afternoon. Made with safety pins, jump rings and little green chip beads. Inspired by Tom Binns' safety pin jewellery...

Comments and criticism always welcome and appreciated  Smiley

ooo! I like!

only comment I have is that you might find it more comfortable to wear if you change the back part to plain wire or some kind of boxy chain that matches so you don't have the edges of the safety pins catching on hairs and pinching and stuff. But if its not an issue, cool.

I love this type of random-stuff-i-have-around-the-house project - always fun.  Grin

Thank you for your comments  : )

It's actually very comfortable to wear

It made me smile when I read:

so you don't have the edges of the safety pins catching on hairs and pinching and stuff

My hair is super short this summer, so I hadn't even thought of that!!! I have to agree, it would be a pain in the butt to have those little neck hairs getting stuck in the pins...

Brilliant! Just from the photo I didn't realise they were safety pins, it looks really elegant.
