I love these! And, I love the picture of them all upside down to show their springs- looks like a pile of dead bugs! But, you made a trio of good bugs, so we don't want them to end up dead in a pile. Cockroaches and mosquitos, on the other hand...

Are the paper parts glued onto the spring and legs, or are they just nested over the top of the spring?

Yep, everything is glued down to keep them steady. You don't want guts falling out or legs falling off! Cheesy

that is too cool phizzy!  i love that you used the button snaps for eyes!  i made a little robot bug out of wire as well .  its great to know someone else makes bugs too! haha

They're wonderful! Such great colours and lovely details. I especially like the dragonfly's eyes and feathery wings. My kids and I found a cool bug yesterday - a Musk Beetle, with irridescent wing cases and long blue antennae - bugs are just so fascinating.
