I wish I could style my hair that way!

Do you have longish hair?  The mannequin's hair probably goes down to her bust or a bit farther...with tons of long layers.  For the long back bun, I just twisted the hair together, then wrapped it around in a circle, and bobby pinned underneath to fatten it out.  For the side bun, I combed the hair over and around the top of the head, tucking it in with bobby pins to give it a more ornate type romantic look.  Err I don't know if this helped or made any sense at all  Huh
