I just finished it last night. It's 100% bamboo plyed with metallic gold thread. It's only about 110 yards, but it is gorgeous. I call it Aphrodite's Locks, I've always imagined Aphrodite to have wavy strawberry blonde hair with golden high lights. It might be going in my etsy cause I have no idea what to do with it.

Wow!  So much beautiful yarn today!

Zucchero_Filato, I was looking at your yarn at work and one of the guys just had to come over and see Smiley  He wasn't sure what it was but the colors of your crazy rainbow totally drew him in!

Man! I always miss fiber friday... I have a lot of stuff I still need to photograph. But until then, this is stuff I've worked on semi-recently. I've mostly been making blended rovings on my hackle. Someday I'll have a drum carder, and making rovings will be so much easier... *dreams*

I absolutely lovvvvvve all the yarns this week!! and Veludo, I think that wool was actually domestic. I don't think I had any merino in the STS. But then again I can hardly remember yesterday, so idk.

So many beautiful yarns! I really love Storm by veludo and Aphrodite by callmeflower9.

Here is what I have been working on lately.

Irish Spring:This is my last spindle spun yarn. It is 232 yards of BFL purchased from forestfiberworks on etsy.

Gritty Ocean: 196 yards. Merino from Gritty Knits plyed with purple thread.

Turquoise Dream: 30 yards. Blend of millends, mohair and silk from freestyle plyed with bamboo

Rainbow Snot: 178 yards. Merino (?) fiber from Fiber Monster plyed with yellow thread.

i love turquoise dream, it looks like a lot more than 30 yds. What does everyone do with small skeins like that?

I've got a small skein sitting around that I've started about three or four different projects with, only to find out that my brother's arms are bigger than I realized, or that my friend is allergic to wool, and so on. I think I'm just going to use it for trim on another project, maybe add some cute embellishments with it. *Shrug*

all these yarns psted after my roving post are great!    Nesse, those rovings you pulled are fantastic!  I love that you strung 2000 sequins into your yarn, Oddacity.  And Aphrodites hair is grogeous!  absolutely stuning!   They are all great.  I most definitly have to pull out my wheel today now....
