One from me this week! This one's been in my stash for a while and I finally got around to spinning it.

"Snapdragon" 128 yards, 11 wpi. 100% merino from hideawayhomestead @ etsy.

As you can see in the first pic I haven't done any finishing on it yet. I haven't decided how I'm going to, since normally I just soak it and hang it up to dry, but I'm at my aunt's house and I haven't thought of a good place to put it yet. Grr, we'll see, we'll see. LOL

I think I'm going to go play with the fiber Belladune sent me in the swap now! Yay!

Hi everyone! This is my first Fiber Friday in a while. Smiley

This week I spun up a batt called "Mermaid Song" that I received from the noodle princess in the fiber swap.  Grin Grin I am in love with it myself! It was almost impossible to capture the halo of the yarn, it's just got so much in it. I'll have to come back and update what's in the yarn itself because it escapes me.

This is half of the batt spun up into a single. I want to weave with it but I'm not sure if it will work out. I spun it all thick and thin so when plied, it really bulks up.

This is the other half of the batt plied with a single of bamboo I spun up specifically for this batt.

I really enjoyed spinning up the noodle princess's fabulous blending job. It was a joy.

jiniphur: yes it's spun fabric, you cut the fabric into 1" strips and it's corespun with a bit of wool to anchor the ends of each strip onto the core thread.

SML: yay! yay! I love seeing what people do with my batts, that looks awesome!
