My latest creation. I can't decide if it's quirky or crazy. What do you all think, Craftsterland?

It's pretty straight-forward...painted canvas, silverware, and drawn-on plate.

Close up...

And further away...ignore the computers. It's the best place I could find to prop it up.

I'd really appreciate comments/criticism! Thanks for looking!!

That's super cool!  I'd love to have maybe four of these all hung in a dining room and all with different plates and different sets of utensils.  I couldn't use this particular one though, because you set your table differently than I do and the 'misplacement' of the fork and spoon would drive me crazy.
Very creative, nice work!

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

I like it.  When I first saw it I thought "what a cool design for dishes".  Then I started wondering if those dish markers are food safe.  I'd make a whole set.  As a picture it is pretty neat too.

That's actually my plan. I've started on a smaller canvas with a bowl with a different design.

I've also got some china with designs on it (cherry blossoms, egg plant, blue flowers) that I'm going to work with.

I have to agree with the misplacement of the fork and spoon, other than that I LOVE it!!
