I am going to be selling at my first craft fair in a few months, and have been trying to come up with some inexpensive items to sell, to balance out the pricier handmade pottery and jewelry.  So, I thought maybe matchbook notepads.  After looking up 1,001 tutorials online, I figured I'd wing it.   Wink  There were lots of templates, lots of measuring, but really, how hard could it be? Cut the outer paper a smidge wider and a bit more than twice as long as the inner paper, fold like a matchbook, stick in paper, staple, voila.  They ended up being 3 x 3 finished, perfect purse size.  I used "The Rockstar Paperstack" for these:

Some "preppy" paper for these:

and some cutesy paper for these:

From each 12 x 12 sheet I was able to make 8 of them.

So, do you think these will sell?  Is 50 cents too much to charge?

If they don't sell, I'll be giving them out for Christmas gifts or using for etsy promos.   Cheesy  Thanks for looking, C & C appreciated.

I think these are great! 50 cents is more than reasonable, if I were at a craft fair I would be willing to pay up to 1.50. Good work!

These are really cute. I don't think 50 cents is too much considering how much people will pay for those cutesy post-it notes. You might want to go buy a pack of some cheapo pens from the dollar store and give a pad & pen combo for $1.

Those are cute! I'd sell them in packs of three or four for a couple of bucks per pack at least. (Also if they're wrapped all cutesy--pen, ribbon, little cellophane bag--people might pay a little more--?)

Also, tossing one in with a purchase as a little fillip would be sweet!

I love the rock and roll ones.. my Boyfriend's sister would love them... i may just have to make a few to give to them when i go visit.. but great job..
If you got the cheap pens at the dollar store and and platter painted them in colors that matched i would pay about $1 to $1.25 for them if they had the splatter pens.. but just an idea
