I made this little guy today after seeing this video from Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories about Bristlebots! I loved the cockroachy movements of the little robot, so I made my own and built this body out of paper around it:



To turn him on, you open up the wings and connect the little red wire to the battery:









And here's a video of him running around  Cheesy

I'm glad I found the bristlebot instructions, as the paper body was really easy to build around it and now I've got little beetley pal  Wink

Thanks!  Cheesy I actually just got the motor (and battery) at Radio Shack, I think it was less than 5 bucks, so not too bad, and no cell phones had to be sacrificed  Wink

Thank you! The wires were already attached; I just cut them down to size and stripped the ends so they'd touch the battery. I've still got one more toothbrush, 6 motors, and 5 batteries, so we'll see what else I can make with those!
