I have lots of fabric. I have lots of fabric that's not quite suitable for most of the zipper pouches and such that I'm typically working on. And I just needed an extra helping of cute in my life.

The solution?
I present.. the Arthurs!

They're made from vintage fabrics, and they have fleece applique faces with childsafe eyes and noses.

They're delightfully handmade; each is a little bit differently shaped, they vary in squishiness... the quirks add to their personality.

And they're all named Arthur. This is Arthur Cobalt.

Arthur Goldenrod, the original!

and Arthur Rouge.

I love them. They're stuffed with fabric scraps, to give them a more weighted feel than typical poly-fil. They're not meant to be children's toys, but they're certainly very huggable.

Please let me know what you think! Thanks! Smiley

Awh. Absolutely adorable. reminds me of when I used to make little plus toys out of old scraps I never used when I sewed (although mine were...rather ugly...deformed cats, but still) I love yours. =) You could make a rainbow of Arthurs.
