Beach days are soon to come, so I decided to make some bags to be ready for swims and sun baths Cheesy

Excellent!  I love the red striped bag in particular- very beachy.  Did you work from a pattern?  What yarn did you use?

I didn't use a pattern in particular, as I always have to translate US stitches in Italian and I end up making a mess Smiley
I worked in circle alternating rows of single crochet with "peruvian stitch" (this is the name in Italian, I couldn't find any correspondent name in English) which is a sort of "tunisian stitch" but made with a knitting needle and a small crochet hook.
I learned this stitch through an Encyclopedia of crocheting. I don't have a scan, but I can make a pic of it if you want.
I used Egyptian cotton, one of my faves.
