Hey guys!
I've been very MIA lately. School has been very time consuming and I haven't had much time for projects. About a week ago, I was feeling very unmotivated, so I pulled out an old, unfinished painting to get some of my frustrations out. I actually finished it, and "Woman King" was born. I was REALLY inspired by Sylvia Ji this time around (she's amazing!!). The name Woman King comes from the song of the same name by Iron and Wine.

Finished:

This really is spectacular! I love the minimal way you've done her eyes, and to such great effect.

Thank you both!  Cheesy

Wulf I'm really glad you like her eyes, I was unsure of what to do with them. I wanted to make her look otherwordly and thought the impression of eyes would have a better effect. I think it enhances the skull look as well! Thanks for noticing  Smiley

Thanks everyone Cheesy

nfirehazzard, I know it's cliche but honestly it just takes practice! I definitely recommend reading Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
