I made this little draw string pouch to put the knickers I make in. The lining matches the knickers and the illustration is hand-drawn with fabric paints which puff up when you iron them.


I got in a bit of a logistical nightmare trying to work out how to sew the side seam and still have the end of the tube where the ribbon pokes out on the outside. I just about managed it, but if you know a cleverer way of doing it I'd be very happy to know.

I'll definitely be doing more of these in the future I think.

Thanks Eliea for explaining about the fabric paint. I'd forgotten that it was puff paint when I did the illustration and then when I was ironing the creases in the bag the fabric started to mysteriously rise up! It was a nice surprise...
