I love southern food...but...need recipes...

So, I went to visit the girlfriend early this summer, and got addicted to fried okra and pickled okra.  (I went to a place called the Hominy Grill - and one of the sides was pickled okra and to die for fried green tomatoes.)

Anyone got recipes for pickled okra?

Seriously? Pickled okra? And it was good? Huh. You've got me curious now, and I'll give it a try if someone conjures up a good recipe.

Pickled okra is amazing. Best remedy for a stuffy nose ever... my grandmother makes some, but if I gave you the recipe, I'd have to kill 'ya.
