I was looking for flower ideas that I could make up to attach to hats that I sell.
I came across some really nice flowers online, but the patterns were 1) in Japanese and 2) charted rather than written.

So I googled "crochet chart" and muddled my way through a couple of patterns.  Here's the result.

PS - Do you know how freakin' hard it is to photograph the back of your head???  This was the best of about 20 pictures.  Thank goodness for digital photography!!!

It looks beautiful! Kinda reminds me of a poinsettia with the colors that you used. How do you have it affixed to your hair? Bobby pins?

Yup, only took 3 bobby pins and I felt it was very snug all day.  I think it's a fun way to use the same pattern for multiple things - hair accessory, hat accessory, and I also sew them onto pins that could be put on bags, shirts, etc.
