I really love the fabric in this block but I'm wondering how it applies to Arizona.  Is it the colors?

To me it was the Native American inspiration and the turquoise. When I was hunting for fabric, I found some sort of Grand Canyony fabric that didn't go with anything... so yeah, I guess it's the colors.

I finished Idaho & Arkansas!  And if I can ever get DH to quit playing Mafia Wars on our laptop  Roll Eyes I will post pics!

So basically, I'm done.  I might not send right away though as we had some unexpected car repairs on account of the Jeep getting stuck in a hole full of water.   Roll Eyes

Ok my final two blocks!

Idaho

Arkansas

I admit I have a bit of ADD with the fabrics - I tried to pick a solid, just didn't work out that way.  Grin

The tomato fabric is great!  I made an apron in high school out of similar tomato fabric but I lost the apron somewhere in all the moves I've made..how sad.

Anyways, I'm real excited to see all these blocks come together into a quilt!  I can't wait!! Smiley

Everyone's blocks are lovely!!!  I'm currently on vacation for a week so obviously no blocks getting done this week.  I'm hoping to get mine finished the first week of September before school starts again and I become a crazy woman!!!

I just finished my fourth state.  I'm hoping that over the next week and a half I can finish up the other two states.

So here are my 4th and 5th set of blocks:

I decided to use pretty fabric for New Hampshire.  New Hampshire's state flower is the purple lilac.

This is Delaware! YAY!  I was able to figure something out for Delaware.

One more set left!

I love seeing the blocks!  Looking good!

We only have 3 weeks left until sendouts, so I hope everyone is still comming along well with their blocks.  I'm real excited to start getting blocks and putting them together.

I really liked the idea of embroidering the state names on the blocks so I might get started doing that to mine today.

I really can't wait to have all the blocks together.  I don't know whether or not I want to embroider or put the state names on my blocks or if I just want people to guess what state each block represents   Huh.  My boyfriend is going to Indiana next Tuesday so once he's out there I'll have plenty of time to work on all things crafty!
