you can make a real easy fanny pack by using the Lined Zippered Pouch  tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0  and making the square bottom a la Jordy Bag. I made one using this method and added two buttons on the back to attach a ribbon strap with loops at the end so I can use it like a makeup bag [without the strap] or a fanny pack or a small shoulder bag [with the strap]

That is too awesome! Bring on the fanny packs! lol. I wore one to Carowinds and I felt so out of place! They are so much easier to keep up with! I think they deserve more respect...at least the better looking ones do. Tutorial! Tutorial! Did you embroider the deer on the flap your self?

From the book Godless:

Just Al: I know that God is real. I feel his presence in my heart
Me: What does it feel like?
Just Al: It's hard to describe Jason. It feels good.
Me: Oh. I thought maybe it was like heartburn or something.

Hehe, you're all making me laugh with your "fanny packs".  Here, "fanny" is a somewhat rude word but probably hasn't been heard since the 80s!  We call them "bum bags".

I like your "hipslinger" though!

Hello hello! Thanks for all the nice comments! The tute is in the works right now! It's taking longer than I thought. But I promise detailed instructions (hip hip) and pictures (hooray)!

Yes, it does deserve more respect! I wish I could take credit for that deer but sadly no...it's an iron on.

Heh heh...I know! I had an Aussie roommate who would die laughing everytime I said "fanny".
