I just finished this guy for my nephew in New Zealand.
His shorts are removable but I won't be pointing that out, and I have sewn on the shoes.
The hat is loose but I think that will work well, plus I didn't feel like hand sewing it on.
Here is Marty with lavender doll

I've been wanting to try the Molly Monkey pattern, just haven't gotten around to it. Your Marty Monkey is cute!

it is a really easy pattern to make and didn't take much time at all. And if you don't stuff it too much it would make a nice snuggle toy for bed time.

I love the boy version of Molly Monkey. Yellow was a great choice for his outfit. This is definitely on my "to do" list.

Thanks...he was so easy to make that I might make him again one day, if I have another monkey loving nephew/neice.
