I haven't posted in God knows how long, but I've been sewing the whole time. So here's a few for you:

This was my dress for graduation (in the pics here it's not finished, there's a pink eyelet lace at the waist now). Made from a fitted sheet I got for $1 at a thrift store.

Action Pose now! If you can't tell, it's the one on the far left.

Cincher! Made out of scrap leather bought at a church sale.
Kindly ignore the fact that I'm in my pajamas.

And finally, a dress I bought from goodwill, replaced the buttons, removed the shoulder pads, and shortened. It doesn't look fantastic here because I've got my sword and belt on, but in real life it's pretty damn good.

Hey I think that dress looks great with the sword and belt!  Definitely a look!   Cheesy

The sheet dress is very pretty.

I love the fabric of the dress.

Just out of curiousity; did you put boning in the cincher?

No, actually, and it's really obvious when I wear it. I managed to get my hands on some steel boning recently, though, which I've been debating whether or not I want to install.
