I've gotten so much inspiration from all of you quilters that I decided to do a hand and feet print quilt.  I used the hands and feet prints of my two girls aged 18months and 4 years.  I pieced it all but had it professional done because I'm not quite ready to tackle one so big.  I give Barb Gillespie at Cherry Tree Quilts in Ottawa, Canada a standing ovation for how it turned out.  I however still have to bind it.

This will be keeping all of our guests warm in our spare room.

That's adorable!  And will be nice for you and your kids to look at in the future, too.

How much does it usually cost to have one that big quilted?

I've never seen one of these before. What a great idea! I'll have to pass this one on to my sister so she can make a little one with her one year old's hands and feet.

My mom did these every year for our kindergarten teachers - they STILL have them. I always love how they look.
