Just noticed it wasn't in the post earlier about the Robert Frost bookmark I made for Zcrafter...

Here is an image of the front:

The treble clef is very pretty, I love the colors. The mermaid is amazing.
I really like the Robert Frost, I felt like I was walking through the woods.  Cheesy

tickle-me-emo: I really like that HP bookmark with the stars. Is it crocheted? It's beautiful. I also like the one with the wild looking fairy. Wonderful artwork on that.

Zcrafter: The mermaid is gorgeous. If you drew that you really have some major talent. I also like the treble clef with the colorful notes. Very pretty.

ntrebleagain: The front of the Robert Frost bookmark fits the poem perfectly. I love it.

Oops! Sorry I forgot to take a pic of the front of that bookmark.  Thanks for posting it, ntrebleagain. It's so lovely.

Yes, I did freehand the mermaid. It's painted in watercolors. However, I loosely copied it from an image I found online. Wasn't sure I could get it done well, BUT I figured I had nothing to lose but a piece of paper and a few splashes of paint! That's truly the beauty of papercrafting, isn't it? No guilt.

I had a ton of fun crafting for you in your first swap, ntrebleagain. Your themes were SO different from mine, but I enjoyed the challenge and liked the way it turned out.

Thank you, yarnorama!

tickle-me-emo, how did you do that fairy? It looks so interesting. What's the medium?

So jealous, lol. I never could draw to save my life. Makes me love my bookmark even more knowing you did!  Grin

I think they sell it at any big box craft store. Not sure where you live, but here in Canada I get mine from Michaels.

..you can always use eBay too.
