I love the zombie one. Keep your brain tasty. I love it. Also, intricate cross stitch/embroidery makes me wish I could do it too. : )

Thanks, ifallthraindrops. I'm glad you liked those. You know, cross stitch is the easiest thing in the world. Like I tell my nieces, it's just up and down and up and down.  Smiley You should give it a try sometime.

I received my package from DanniQuee today! Prepare to turn green with envy when you see the awesomeness she bestowed upon me.  Smiley

First, the group shot. This didn't come out very good I'm afraid.

I didn't like that dark background so I switched to something lighter.

Next are the bookmarks. I really can't decide which one I like best, they are all so good! My themes included Dinosaurs, Dali, Sci Fi, and Mythology. She captured them all.

"The Persistence of Dinosaurs". Dali himself couldn't have done it better!

Then there's a Hippocampus. She stalked me and discovered my affinity for the creatures. If you look real close you'll see a jellyfish in the background. I don't know if she drew this herself but it looks like it. It's wonderful!

You tell some people you like zombies and robots and they'll come up with something so clever it just blows you away. Check out this zombie mistaking a robot for a meal. ROFL!

And the aftermath:

That is one p.o.'ed robot. Can't say that I blame him. lol

The zombie one is a magnetic bookmark that folds over and sticks to itself. Great for when you're traveling with your latest read.

And as if that wasn't just the best ever, I got a set of yellow (my favorite color) jewelry.

DanniQuee, you're the greatest!

Cry I'm sorry I haven't posted pics of my wonderful bookmarks yet. Camera issues, I am hopeful that tomorrow with a nice full battery my camera will feel better and up to taking pics for me. Tomorrow is a new day

I should rephrase: I COULD do cross stitch, I am just horribly impatient. I knit like a fiend though, and that's just as slow. *shrug*

And I love the robot one. : ) Very cute.

I've tried the knitting but I'm not very good at it. I have to tear out and start over a lot. *sheepish look*

Here are the goodies I received from ntrebleagain. It's her very first swap, and she did a great job of crafting for my likes and dislikes!

First, all the stuff together. (Please pardon the blur -- my camera can only do so much.)

My themes were poetry (especially Robert Frost), quotations, ducks, and the letter Z.

She made a beautiful bookmark with part of Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken."

And a cutecutecute beaded ducky one. Gosh, I love this:

Then this corner bookmark with the letter Z:

The really great thing is that, on the day I received this package, I had a craft swap party at my house. Well, when all the ladies saw the corner bookmark, they decided they had to make one! I had already set up a table with materials to make bookmarks or tags, so they just went to town and made two corner bookmarks apiece.

And last, thoroughly enjoyed by me, these stickers with quotations:

I am so happy -- great partner! Thank you, ntrebleagain.

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good..
