Samsara spoiled me!  I got three markers, here they are all together.  Ignore my messy desk.

My themes included black cats, Art Nouveau (especially Mucha) and Spock from Star Trek.  Smiley

The Spock one was totally awesome! front:

The killer Art Nouveau one!  What a great job!!

and the crocheted black cat one, which I told my cat Isis would be her if she keeps running out in front of cars lol!  She stole this for a toy/teddy lol.

That's a superb set of bookmarks, greenfaerie. I don't know which I like best. The Star Trek hand is awesome, the art nouveau is elegant, and the flat cat is funny as all get out. Samsara, you did an amazing job with the themes.

Thank you! they were such fun to make - I learnt so much about the Vulcan language and Federation insignia that I didn't know, and I'm a little bit of a fan myself Smiley

Seriously, I love them!  Going to be going to the library after I get a new tire on the car, and get a lot more books to use with these!

I'm going to try to track down Isis and get an action shot of her and the kitty one. lol!

You did very well with the Vulcan thing!  Cheesy

Thank you Smiley The Spock one says 'Live long and prosper' on it, either side of the insignia! Did you know that James Doohan (Scotty) was also a linguist and created the verbal Vulcan (and half the Klingon) language??!!  Shocked Well, that's what I read anyway when I was researching the Vulcan script and Starfleet insignias  Wink What I've written there isn't true Vulcan script, but my interpretation of it. Also the Art Nouveau bookmark is my interpretation of a Mucha painting. *lol* I epitomise geek chic!

I was gone from the internet for a week and so much has happened since then...
I did receive my bookmarks. I will try to post pics tomorrow.
Did I get close on art deco with the black and white pattern on the circular book mark?? It has a glass bead on the string, unless it got broken on the way there, then it didn't.  Cheesy
