I got my bookmarks from craftyhippie awhile ago. Sorry for not posting pics sooner, but I've been so busy and haven't had a chance to get on the computer!

They're all so awesome and I'm using the tree one as my bookmark right now! Thank you so much, craftyhippie!

Great work, craftyhippie! They are all so cool, and I have the same question as beeker.

I just thought I would post one of the bookmarks I sent to kiden2.  She received awhile ago so here it is:

One of her themes was caffeine and I wasn't sure how I could make it work, so I came up with the caffeine molecule instead of a cup of coffee or tea because caffeine can be found in a lot more than that.

That's great, I love the caffeine molecule (caffeine got me through school!), and I don't drink coffee at all Cheesy

Maybe I missed something, but I never saw scaramouche post what I sent her so I thought I'd share Smiley

The themes were steampunk and "next to normal" the musical.

For steampunk, I rubbed some less-rust-colored-than-I'd-hoped paper with silver, drew what I hope looks like joints and seams and screws, and cut out holes for the dark background with drawn cogwheels to show through.

And for the Next To Normal theme, I chose the song Wish I Were Here (next to the theme she mentioned that she liked the lyrics of the musical, but I had some trouble establishing contact and didn't manage to pry out more details before I had to get crafting, so I just chose what appealed to me Wink )

For those who don't know, the musical is about a woman (mother, wife) who's going further and further into manic depression and schizofrenia, as far as I've been able to read up on it. That's why I chose a dark and sharp though unclear background, uneven cuts, etc, for the general impression.
The lyrics written in gold are
In an instant lightning flashes and the burst might leave me blind.
When the bolt of lightning crashes and it burns right through my mind,
It's like someone drained my brain out, set my frozen mind to thaw,
Let the lethargy and pain out, while I stood and watched in awe.

It's hard to read on the actual bookmark, but you can make it out, and I found it suiting.

Wow -- those are all great, and you both worked hard to craft for your partners' tastes. I must say I am partial to the caffeine bookmark. It's so creative! I also love the unique design style of the steampunk one.

Excellent work!
