Dear You,

There's boot sale near my house that i never explore because i honestly didn't think I'd find anything. On ym first trip there I spotted a lovely locket pin and was in negotiations. when i mentioned i was interested in the metal link vintage oroton bag the prices went down down down.

Now the pin was lovely but the bag smelt of old lady.

I aired it out and decided to nerd it up a little, hence the Super mario reference. Now it's cute and I love it! I hope the nerd in you likes it too!

This is awesome! How did you get the design on the bag?

Now, I've always been a big fan of the Super Mario Bros. Used to have the ringtone on my phone, in fact, but that's as crafty as I got with it. This is definitely cool. Did you cross-stitch? Embroider?

Thanks Smiley

It's a metal link bag so no fabric was used. I was going to stencil on with spray paint but i wanted to use the metal links to enhance the pixelhated effect so I simple coloured them in with permanant marker, used nair polish remover to add tone e.g. pink shaddow inside the white spots and finished it with a spray gloss seal.

easy peasy

Cheesy I just love it, aren't you clever! How big is that bag? I really want one! I never see Mario fabric at the store. You did a super job!
