Fueled by the scent of rubber shavings....

I grow a couple of pots of herbs in the balcony.  However - the chives and cat grass are in similar looking pots.

I was making a pot of mashed potatoes to bring to a potluck, and I asked my mother to clip a couple of springs from the plant.  I coarsely chopped them, and threw them into the mashed potatoes.

After smelling the finished project, I realised what my mother had done.

Cat grass in mashed potatoes.  Hoo boy.

Nah, I didn't, but it was a bad week all around.  Most of the cardboard for a pyramid head cosplay was ruined by my younger neighbours and a water pistol.

At least the other pot of mashed potatoes was a successful.

The conversation after, although was a doozy:

Mom:  There are things called labels!
Me:  Cat grass does not look like chives, do they?
Mom:  Green grass type things - Please label!
Me:  *gets out the waterproof markers and a roll of masking tape*
