Here are my first ever peices...

I did them in no order and didnt number them so I can imagine the drama of putting it back togethar. I may have to recruit a person who actually likes putting puzzles togethar to do it for me.

Cheesy! It turns out that my current puzzle has 63 pieces. I know this because I went through them all, numbered the backs so they're all made in the order I picked them, and papered all the fronts. It took forever, and my finger is still numb at the end from all the tiny cutting! It feels good to just have the fun bits to do now though! Grin

Good idea to number them! I was planning to assemble the puzzle and pick out the pieces as I need them, but if I assemble the puzzle and label each piece, then I could do the pieces more randomly.

Since I'm anxious to get started, I need a little help to finish up my alphabetical list. My theme is "What crafting means to me!" I'm planning to frame the completed set and write the words for each puzzle piece around the puzzle (probably on the mat). But, I have a few gaps in my list. I'm totally stumped on 3 letters (A, M, V), and am not completely sold on 3 other letters (I, T, U), so I'm open for suggestions for those letters. Filled in! Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Here's my list so far, finally:

A- Acrylic Paint
B- Beads & Buttons
C- Crochet
D- Design
E- Embroidery
F- Fabric
G- Glue & Glitter- Not!
H- Handmade
I- Imagination
J- Jewelry
K- Kitsch
L- Love
M- Macrame
N- Nature crafts/themes; Natural
O- Origami
P- Paper
Q- Quilting
R- Rubber Stamps
S- Sewing
T- Tools
U- Unique
V- Variety
W- Woodblock
X & Y- An X-cess of Yarn
Z- Zippers

I'd appreciate any help! Thanks so much to everyone who gave me suggestions!  Grin

Good suggestions! And, it's funny, because I just got a box of supplies from a friend after her Gran passed away and there was macrame cord and a bunch of macrame books!
