I got a kind of antique-ish sleeve ironing board in a second hand shop today, cost me 1 Euro... yay! It looked really beastly, though, so I had to jazz it up, of course. I just took the whole thing apart and added new upholstery fabric and some lovely fabric tape and re-used the old upholstery nails and lots of staples to get the thing done.

I LOVE the fabric and I think it's just perfect Smiley

(on the "before" pic there's a tin and pinking shears I also bought very for very little money at the same shop! and on the "after" pic there's just everything I used in the process lieing around Wink )

Nice job. I got one of these a little while ago. The cover that's on it is not that great, you have inspired me to make a nice cover for it.
