I'm not even sure I'm posting in the right thread anymore as I've been away from Craftster for a long time. If I am I apologize!

Anyway, I made this headwear for a fashion show at my Arts School back in March. I wasn't too happy with the outfit but I definitely love the fascinator and I'm sad there's no way I'm wearing this outside  Roll Eyes

For the fashion show we were playing with the fourth elements and I got fire, too bad as I think I'm more of an earth girl! The only detail pics I got are mirror shots from when I finished it. Someday I should take proper ones.

I used quite a few materials for this. The base and "rocks" are made from felt covered in black fabric and embelished with some red beads I had. The rest is made from diferent papers, I got tons of the one I used for the flames at school and I'm not even sure which kind of paper it is but it's great. The flames are wired so I could bend them in the way I wanted and painted with acrylics. I attached it to a black thin headband I had no use for.

After the pics were taken I covered the border seams with black bias tape. Total cost was 0$  Cheesy

Thank you for watching!

I think that is pretty as I am drawn to the fire palette.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!
