So this is my first attempt at a pop-up card. It came out a bit "messy" for me. It bends where I don't think its suppose to bend but I still sent it to my boyfriend, anyway.



Sorry for the not so clear picture. I took it on my phone.

I like it, it looks intentionally messy. Kind of indie-rock style handmade shabbiness. Very cute, I think he'll love it Smiley

Hey, you have to start somewhere, right?  The heart's a nice touch.

I can't tell for sure from the picture, but it looks like the "roofs" (the pieces connecting the card to the tops of the letters) are a little too short. 
The distance of :
the card fold to the foot of the letter
must equal
the depth of the roof
