Hey everyone, this is just a simple motif I did as an exercise to sort of get me back into filet crochet. I've had the pattern forever but I *think* it can be found on About *dot* com's crochet section. I used a crochet cotton and a size 10 steel hook.

You may call it a simple motif but I think it is very pretty.  I haven`t tried filet crochet yet. It just looks hard and those symbols are very confusing to me. You did a great job.

Thank you so much. It's really not that bad it becomes second nature after awhile. Try something small like this and go from there. you just have to dive in!

I've never been brave enough to attempt filet crochet, so this supposedly simple motif still looks pretty incredible to me Smiley Well done!

I like how the center part was done.  I haven't seen that before in filet.  It seems like there's always something new to try with filet besides the simple blocks I learned 20 years ago!   Grin
