Hi cyndiq! There's really no trick to it, they're just pearl snaps. I'll be happy to post pics, but it's pretty straightforward. I'll get on that tomorrow. Smiley I'm so glad you love your wallet!

Are you asking about studs or snaps? The pearl snaps I sometimes use come with a little thingee that you use the hammer with.  Or there's clever little objects that you put the separate pieces into and then just press it together to put on the snap.  I know, not terribly helpful, I'm a terrible describer.
