So I've been home from college for about a month now, with nothing to do because finding a job these days has become near impossible. Today I was bored like every other day, & decided to rekindle my love with sewing Smiley Anyshoes, I decided to follow a Jordy Bag tutorial from waaay back in the day, adding some of my own personal flair. I've had my eye on a vintage-esque bag with an owl detail (love owls!) for about a month now and thought, hey! I can make my own owl-y bag! So here's how she turned out:

Full shot of the goods...

Owl detail...

I know the sewing is a bit shoddy on this applique, but I like how it turned out. His tummy feathers look ruffled!

Me carrying the bag...

For the fringe & owl I just cut up an old suede suit of my mom's, & the rest is some random fabric I've had for awhile now. So whaddya think? I know this is just a simple pattern, but I think this is the first bag that's turned out not-too-shabby, because I put so much effort into it. Anywho, thanks for looking! Smiley
