I shall be making my first poppet soon.  To be quite honest, I'm always nervous about messing them up.  But yours looks gorgeous!  I love how you did her hair. :3

Don't be afraid, you should have seen my first. The body was actually great, I messed up by getting too ambitious on the facial sculpting. I am slowing getting better, and that nice poppet along has tons of answers. Many on the very first page.

Don't be nervous! Hell, I messed up too. The poppet-along thread is a great wealth of information and support. Smiley Besides... some cultures believe having imperfections in your work is a sign of modesty or as a nod to God(s) because only He/they are perfect.

Very pretty.  Definitely inspires me to try to make one myself...since all I've successfully sewn is two pillowcases.   Wink  And messed up on the first one (how do you mess up a pillowcase?  A SIMPLE one??)  heh.

I love the colors, and her hair is beautiful.  Adorable. I'd love for my daughter to have one (and me too of course) so I better get learning Smiley
