smunky, I usually use strips of paper 1cm by 25 cm long for making paper stars

Here is a giant paper star I made.  It took up five sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper cut in half lengthwise.  Applying that logic, I could make a star twice as big as that with ten sheets uncut.

I also have a 2 litre bottle of small paper stars that I'm slowly filling up.

I have tons of the straws as well as the stars that I made. I give them to my b/f everytime I see him. They are a bit harder then the paper ones but so much better looking.  Cheesy

The link doesn't work for me either :\ Just started trying the paper stars though, they're really great! Just sad we get such grey junkmail here, there's nothing disgustingly colorful to make brilliant stars from. I've made seven paper stars now just to try them out. My boyfriend keeps smiling benevolently at me, it makes me think this site is encouraging my obsessions a bit to much Grin Or maybe that's because it's 3AM and I should be finishing that schoolwork...
