i saw all these spoon pendants around and then my grandmother who collects souvenir spoons gave me a few bent or otherwise deformed ones
i made every pendant out of one complete spoon.

"artsy shot"

on me, for size reference

close up: this one is kind of plain, but i really like the reflections on the metal.
little story: the motive is part of a sanitaria here in austria and says "Bad Hall", which is the name of this village. my grandfather stayed there quite a few times because he has about every disease one can imagine.

this one lost its resin souvenir picture thingy. i made the orange plate out of fimo and stamped a chicken on that. the flowers and leafes are parts of old (and broken) earrings which must have looked like bouquets of flowers about 20 years ago.

What a great idea to use the whole spoon - something new to look for at garage sales!!!

that's why i posted them.
i tried to make a "normal" one, but cutting the spoon was really annoying (and i think others might find that too). then i looked at the spoons an thought it would be waste to throw the handles away. and the souvenir spoons best part is the handle.
