I know it's July, but I actually started this last December and there was no way I was going to get it done in time for last Christmas! I finished this last month, and it's tucked up safely until this Christmas. Smiley

Made with a Moda Merry and Bright layer cake - I went for simple this time!

The back is the Yuletide Critters print from Michael Miller, and a cotton bed sheet

And the obligatory dog immediately leaping onto the thing you're taking a photo of shot

My quilting has come along way in just a year! The Christmas quilt I made last year had no proper binding because I was too scared to try it!

he's a patterdale/jack russell cross! you're the first person I've met to realise he totally looks like a patterdale. Everyone asks me if he's a black jack russell, and if I've had his tail docked, and I have to explain that he came that way!! And when I tell them he's a patterdale they say they've never heard of it.

Very nice! It looks great. I wonder why I've never thought of making a Christmas quilt?

I got my parents a farm-rejected Patterdale (she wasn't into catching mice) a few years back.  They loved my lab mix, but said she was too big.  So a little research and a lucky day reading the Classifieds, I found them Maggie!
