Okay, still playing around with hardware jewelry. While at Mass I had an idea - a rosary made from washers/nuts. So here it is.

The 'Hail Mary beads' are washers, the 'Our Father beads' are hexagonal nuts, the centerpiece is a larger washer, the cross is blackstone with a plated bail - all linked together with jumprings and a little bit of chain.

Sorry about the poor pictures.

Bekka [who is bummed today, sorry for the less than cheerful post - unable to sell ANY of my jewelry this morning at the flea market (swap meet) Tongue ]

Other hardware jewelry projects I've posted in case you want to take a look:

Washer and Nut Earrings (Picture heavy)
Black Velvet Washer Necklace
Washer Chainmaille Bracelet
Nutsy Key Necklace

Great idea!  I'm always thinking that custom roasries would be awesome.  This one looks really good too!  I would not have thought it was made out of hardware.  I'd like to see other ideas if you ever make more.

Bekka,
I have been jumping around reading here a bit this morning,
and have been coming acrossed your creations..
They get better and better every time I see a new picture/post...
This one is the best, LOVE< LOVE> LOVE this idea!!!!
You've got a great nack for jewelery and flare..
Keep up the good work, and don't get discouraged..
Flea Markets are a hard place to sell at, EVERYONE IS ALWAYS LOOKING
FOR A GOOD DEALLLL AND CHEAP AT THOSE THINGS..
Find a niche for yourself... wear your jewelery, get a blog, do a
HOME PARTY, have a friend do a party for you, invite some other friends, and a
person from that party have a party and get the "WORD OF MOUTH" going for you...
You'll be suprised how that can work out for you..
